Lovely, I'm a fan of those tyres as well. The 2.4" are great. I'll have to dig out a photo of my RFX, your XCE is looking pretty similar now!

I recently purchased and built up a 2002 Turner XCE from a frame I got off of eBay. Figured I'd drop pictures of the final build here as it's the same Turner frame model.

Original frame had minor oxidation so sanded and then treated with everbright to protect the exposed aluminum. Waiting to see how it holds up, will resand and retreat if needed.

Didn't have the luxury of having old parts so the majority of the parts on the bike are relatively new and off of another build. Fork I purchased separately. 130mm Fox 32 Float X Trail Tune Teralogic from pinkbike.

Made a custom down tube protector out of a piece of kydex. The cage bolts on the bottom and some added washers hold it.

Waiting to get better weather to see how it rides.

Love it, what a fantastic retro modded version you have ended up with. Thank you for sharing. Bet it’s a hoot to ride on the rougher twisty trails
