New order, new colors!! Redesign Rocky Mountain tilted seat clamp.

That's correct, silver replica version for larger diameter alloy frame (included with your altitude).
I don't understand very well. I'm ordering 30.0 mm ID. Which is the other dimension? I've not enouigh request for them.

Hi @Fatboy1974, def interested in what you're up to. I would likely speak for 2 gold in the 30.0 size.

Any plans to make the Tibolt size? I have a frame in desperate need of a proper collar. They seem to measure out at 31.8 inner diameter. I would pre order 3 black, 3 gold if you plan to do so. Always nice to have back-ups around.

I'm shocked not more guys asking for the Tibolt ones on here.

Hi. If there are really interest for 10-15 units, I can check and try to do both. Hardest thing us to know which colors and how many of each. Can you check with a caliper the OD,? Is 31,8mm an exact dimension?

It’s tough to measure the collar correctly given use over time. Seems to be 31.8-32.0 max. Frame itself measures 31.6 OD, so makes sense they’d make collar a little wider.

Wirst think is that I need to do 15-20 units of each to get reasonable costs. And at the end, the investment will be near 500$. I'll check with chinese supplier. I would like to collaborate with Rocky Mountain fans making available these "weird" seat clamp design, very sexy at same time!
It's a pity because a change in ID dimension it's a new CNC program, so cost of each unit won't decrease, but will be around 28-30$ what I don't know if it seems reasonable. I'm calculating a 10% profit to compensate the risk of having a bunch of seat clamps in my desk.

I would do 31.6-31.65mm or so. The clamp is "elastic" and I prefer to fit as much as possible to exct dimension. I tried a 30.0 one in my 30.0 OD altitude and it fitted easily "opening" a litle during the installation.

For the record 29.8/30.0 is a common standard size used by Kona BitD, On-one etc. That was the spec (both sizes given). They tend to use 28.6 tubes with extra external butting for the steel frames.

Ti I think is just straight and not externally butted so if it's anything like Reynolds Ti and Alu it'll be 31.7(Ti) / 31.75 (Alu).
And with Ti, you have no paint to clamp either.

If you know the seattube material you can look it up.
If it is not butted them just take some measurements along the tube itself and not the bendy cut bit.

Just my interested input.

Thank you @FluffyChicken . Seems like 2 dimensions here (26,8-27.2 seatpost go to 30 OD), amd alu/ti seems to go 31.6. Yes, ti tubes are not tappered. Ti is very hard to bent/apper/curve so not bariable tubes available, at least at 90's.

CAn anybody confirm a Tibolt or alu Vertex/Edge seattube OD?

I will bet 31.60 -0+0.05mm for machining.
