Who doesn't love a new or even nearly new bike.
Got this off eBay for a bargain price, it looks like it hasn't been used? Certainly not on anything dirty.
A massive 29er on one bootzipper.

The plan is for it to replace my ebike commuter and swap the motor onto this, it's a big and burly go anywhere bike, so should be up to the job.
First to go will be the bars, stem, seat and pedals. Plus more mixed terrain friendly tyres.
I think I'll replace the almost mint, 12 speed group set with a slightly used 10 speed I have.
We'll see how it goes.

Ha ha, but no. I have just received a lovely set of Hope mono M4 brakes, pretty retro really. Plus I've already made a couple of changes. Brooks saddle and Stooge bars oh yes and a GT BMX stem, nice! IMG_20220805_191416.jpg

Sorry, but the bars are soooo wide, I couldn't get them all in the shot...

Looks like a proper nice bike mate

Also, I have very particular tastes and this one is the real gorgonzola for me.. ~clears throat~

BMX STEM, YES! KLUNK FACTOR BARS, YES! (are they Sunrise?)
RIGID FORKS, YES!

But as Guinness said shame about the pizzacutters, imagine if it had actual brakes. But I feel the pain.

Hopefully get it out this weekend, I'm having a rest after changing the front tyre, I think I dislocated my shoulder, modern tyres and rims are very tight!

I'm with you. Bought a gravel bike off here recently and I'm really enjoying it. Stock srame rival 1 11sp and I did what I usually don't do and rode it as it came. Have made imho some choice upgrades (pro carbon stem, use carbon drops and a use carbon post), plan to add a carbon crank when I get the time. The cour has even grown on me, a kind of yellow but not bright. loving a new, current bike.
