New Member - Original 95 Rockhopper Comp A1

Good Afternoon,

Joined a while back and thought I would share a couple pictures of my 1995 Rockhopper I bought new in the fall of 95. Actually bought 2 at the time and still have both. (She is gone but I still have the bike!!) This one has less than 40 miles on it and exact as the day I brought it home from the shop in Boston. One thing that I realized a few years back was they put the wrong wheels on it - x23s instead of Z23s. I wonder if I could complain once the shop in Boston opens back up?haha

I am now in the process of putting together a 95 M2 FS Comp from the frame up. Really need a 17 or 18 frame but for now I'm working with the 19. I've never done this before but with the extra time thought it would keep me out of trouble. This was the bike I always wanted but out of reach at the time.

You guys are a great wealth of info and appreciate those I have reached out to who have helped!

I have the same one, same colour, had it now for 20 years and put thousands of miles on it. Yours is way mintier, and you've got the original fork, which I binned many years ago. Mine is in line for a complete rebuild once I clear away some other projects.
