I made them they are actually 10mm round bar welded to 50x8mm flat I used to have it mounted on the wall in my other shed but as this one is sand stone it was more difficult to attach being uneven and fragmenting blocks so I redrilled the mounting holes and screwed it to the rafters with 2in wood screws. The wheels and frames are hung using 6mm fencing wire run on top of the rafters.

Thanks. That sounds like a level of engineering prowess I lack entirely! Welding is well beyond me. I guess bikes aren't that heavy in the grand scheme of things though.

Bike hooks

A while ago my local aldi were selling giant plastic coated hooks that would be perfect for hanging bikes from. Will post on here if they get them in again

Although I personally cant stand the term "man cave" thats a nice putting range Im limited to about 21 for my indoor putting.

Well done on sorting out the cave looks like there's still enough space for a work stand to think that road bikes to abit big for you
