I am Richard and I design and build stuff for a living, and found you via www.hondacrx.co.uk forum. I am staying near Windsor.

I have joined as I am looking to track down a bike type I used to own about 18 years ago:

Saracen comp pro.
Black/yellow graphics
18" aggressive geometry frame.
No suspension.
strong, light and smooth.

I missed her the day I sold her and would love to find another one.

Funnily enough I thought about getting another a few months ago, but they all seem to have been barry boy'd to oblivion which isn't my thing. Finding one (Mk 2 VTEC) in original condition is pretty hard, particularly without rust on the rear wheelarches or under the trims.

I have a Mk2 Vtec with standard bodywork, but a 2 litre engine. No arch rust, but it could do with a respray (faded red) I also have a fairly rusty non Vtec which will be broken for spares and a four door civic of the same age.

I've had 6 Crx's over the years

Richard (above) has a VERY nice non Vtec - it was recently the buyers guide example in a classic car mag.

Frogracer who I mentioned above has a lovely CRX racing car.

Both of them drive Vtec civics day to day as well - noticing a theme here

If you want to find another, then follow Richards's link above - there are plenty about with sympathetic mods (suspension, 15 inch wheels, performance mods) but they aren't all that cheap for a good one. Virtually no standard ones about anymore though.

If you're genuinely after a non-chavv'd one, you should come along to CRX-UK.

I've been browsing here a lot recently trying to find a 14.5" Zaskar frame. Finally picked one up on eBay a couple of weeks ago and am in the process of building it up.
