hi all, i have introduced myself on the mtb forum so now here on the road forum too. i have a new specialized, a 96 gt rave, a 91 trek 6000 and a mbk monagne that i guess is from the mid 90,s.
my dream bikes would be a klein adroit, a 50th anniversary gold raleigh, my old peugeot comete back again and a recumbent. i live in milton keynes and ride out with team mk most saturdays.
i worked in a bike shop in london from 87 to 99 and have owned many many bikes my favorite being a fisher procaliber.
im restoring the gt at the moment and have discovered a stripped thread in the chainset and the ally seatpost has married the steel seat tube (and no, sticking it in a vice and using the bike as leverage diddnt work) it only destroyed the top of the post so its out with the hacksaw blade and expletives i think. :cry:
