One thing I have taken from this site is a rekindling

This site is very good at 'rekindling' which rapidly turns into an inferno.. using bank notes as fuel. Take great care...but enjoy, because you're unlikely to come across anywhere with as much knowlege and enthusiasm.

Welcome, and nice looking bike! What forks are they, can't tell/don't recognise them. Loving the green dcd, I really must have it. Fancy swapping it for a new in packet silver one?

They are Ballistic forks, were fitted to the from new, IIRC, they were advertised in some magazines as 'budget' forks going for around £200. They are adjustable feel nice n stiff to ride with about 50mm travel or thereabouts, they never caused any pogoing. They a decent fork but probably a bit heavy esp when compared with other kit like rockshox et al. Hence why I am thinking of changing them in future for some rigids or pace rc35's, but thats if and when I decide at moment the only thing I need is me shifters sorting and now I have a weekend off I may try and sort that too!
