Few new folks on Facebook interested, too, @Swede ! These might be the same people, if I knew how to crosswalk the handles on here with the names on FB.
I sent a photo of @fguki’s fat fork to Daryl and he sent this;
It’s a bit crazy….but the fat fork had a lot of small details that make a huge difference. We did finally get it all sorted, but then Rock Shox and suspension forks came on the scene…..
It’s a bit scary building forks because there is so much liability…….
I find myself in tension here. Scary to me to think ‘others’ are thinking of reproducing…..
I know your heart is right, but there are a lot of not so good people who would love to take advantage in a litigious sort of way…. I guess that’s why product liability insurance is so high on forks……

Encouragingly, he sent me these photos last night. Apparently it was made +15years ago, so there might be hope yet!
