Ok, single speed on a budget. I will try and explain what i did and then when the parts arrive you should have no problems fitting them and away you go.

The Spacers are plastic discs which are sandwiched between the various sized rear sprockets. Mine were obtained by stripping down some old seized rear cassettes. You will have more than enough to play around with, and a selection of the smaller sprockets to try out. A Locking ring will secure them all in place.

* As frame geometries vary you can position the rear sprocket anywhere along the axis between the spacers. its trial and error sometimes but patience will provide great rewards ;)

Ok, hopefully the pictures will say a thousand words. Any issues give me a shout.

got to love this site :D

on a side note, sometimes those little plastic spacers have little tabs to locate them on the sprocket. if they do, take a file to them as they wont sit flush and cause tightening issues.
