New alloy fork orused P2?

Hi all,

After having my work bike nicked a couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to build a great bike for commuting that didn't look great (basically a bike that goes like sh!t off a shovel but which looks like exactly that but without the shovel). I have a Stumpjumper M2 frame I got from here about 4 years back (a project that I never got round to starting). Work is about 5 miles, tarmac all the way so I don't need comfort which means rigid fork.

Should I go for a new alloy fork On One are selling or hold out for a used P2 from elsewhere? Logic says stiff alloy but I kind of like the asthetic of the P2.

(this is probably the first of many and posibly the least stupid question I might ask. Wait till I start looking at gears...)

Get a stumpjumper steel fork from the same year , it will have the correct rake and length.
