Some projects have been evaluated, so some items may go. I'm offering:
Nice XTR-960 group with Crankbrothers CobaltSL crankset with SKF BCX-600 bottom bracket. The top group from Shimano from around 2007. Light, strong brakes. The front derailleur and crankset have been used for a very short time, the other parts are still completely new. Especially the bottom bracketset is rare, all items are new or nice condition. These parts will complete your classic MTB.
For completeness:
dual control levers with rapid rise rear derailleur and triple front derailleur, complete v-brakes, triple crankset (48-38-28 teeth, 175mm length, partly stainless steel) with ISIS fit, unwearable bottom bracket (is no longer made because nobody wears out the bearings...). € 390,00
Also on offer is a Bioracer Genius mountain bike frame, made ánd recently checked by the famous Sjefke Janssen (from Elsloo, Netherlands), of very light Columbus Genius tubing (see other photos in a thread on this forum). Frame is a combination of fillet brazing, and presumably silver (seat stays to seat tube) brazing, and lugged soldering. Seat tube measures 53 cm centre-top, effective top tube length 57.5 cm centre-centre, head tube is 9.6 cm long.
With the frame comes a new bottom bracket (Italian thread, Neco) and new Columbus Genius frame and fork decals. In head tube fits a 1 1/8" headset, seatpost size is 29.8 mm. Frame is powdercoated but in need for a new coat/spray.
One small dent in top tube (photo) and down tube (photo elsewhere on this forum, will provide one asap). From the internet:
Genius tubing was first introduced in 1991 and the lightest tubeset at that time.
Made from Nivacrom steel, Genius tubing was the first of the Columbus tube sets to introduce "mega oversized" tubes. Genius tubing saves weight by only butting portions of the tube that are under the greatest stress. Using Genius tubing, we select from 3 different sets to accommodate small, medium and large riders. Genius tubing can be constructed using lugged or luggless techniques. Columbus offers special Genius lugs to match this tube set. € 90,00
Shimano XT left 175mm crank arm FC-M750, minimal scuffing, good thread € 10,00
Shimano LX 3x8 shifterset SL-M569, good clicks € 15,00
Shimano LX right 175mm crank arm FC-M569, 22-32-42 chainrings (32 and 42 worn) € 17,50
Please make an offer if my prices are off. Shipping quotes will be given (25% cheaper in January). Payment via bank transfer or Paypal (F&F or fees payable by buyer). Will undervalue on customs form (if wanted). Collection in Maastricht, Netherlands, is also possible.
