It's a great tutorial however the tool I use does not have an adjustment screw so the multi pass process they describe is not possible with it.

the tapered grub screw is your adjustment screw :facepalm:

Except the one on the tool I was using is not tapered and does not adjust anything. It's just there...

In any case I returned the tool today so I'm done with it. I did not have to pay for return shipping since it is not as described and does not work.

I ordered a Unior fork threading tool, new. It's a special order so it will take several weeks for me to get it. That should do it. I don't like the taste of defeat!
