Far from it. I will always stand my round at the barBagpuss singlehandedly turned this thread into a pop up bar. And he's pouring strictly for himself.
Tried this app tonight (OS Maps) - seems decent, cheers! The OS Maps App will let you record a route, on the free version too. It's handy too if you have paper OS maps with the code on them for the online version, as you can create a free account and add those to it and be able to download them to your phone and so can look at maps even without signal. While that might not seem any better than a paper one, it gives you your GPS location on the map, so rather than trying to work out where on earth you are, you can see (within the usual margin of error). I have it on my phone as a backup for when/if I get lost
Yep you can't beat a couple of mountains and a valley at anytime of the day.Tried this app tonight (OS Maps) - seems decent, cheers!
I tried one for a week or so but returned it as I found that it had a tendency to rattle loose of the handlebar mount on more bumpy roads. Perhaps it'd be best rackmounted? To ensure I can always find my exact longitude I always ride with an exact copy of John Harrison's H1 Chronometer.
So far I have never been lost whilst using it.

I can think of one or two people that should be mounted on a rack.I tried one for a week or so but returned it as I found that it had a tendency to rattle loose of the handlebar mount on more bumpy roads. Perhaps it'd be best rackmounted?
