Well done stick legs, no cigar tho mate.

It is indeed a spreader for those tight stem to handlebar problems everyone gets every now and then, you know when you put in the flat head screwdriver and turn it to widen the clamp and end up scraping the sh*t out of it in the process :roll: .

you simply push it in and use a bit of leverage.

it was shown to me when whinging about a stem / bar tightness problem when I popped into the LBS to see bikeshopowner who tells me its a tool made only by specialized .

few good guesses guys but stick legs is the man - today anyway

it was shown to me when whinging about a stem / bar tightness problem when I popped into the LBS to see bikeshopowner who tells me its a tool made only by specialized .

That exact tool may have only been made by Specialised, but similar tools exist for the same job that predate Specialized, so in my mind it really not that special.

I do like the concept of a guess that tool though, and this was definitely a great start.
