Mystery saddle

Another neglected and abused part from the lot of parts I recently picked up. I'm not looking to sale just curious what brand and age it could be.

I'm certainly not a saddle expert but I have heard of Brooks and Ideale, this one seems to be different. I know it is really beat up and the stamps are not legible but there is something there, just barely.

Sides have a oval stamp with what looks like a winged "M" in the middle. There is another oval on the top with only a few letters legible, "OUPO" on the top, "RANT" on the bottom.

Any ideas what the maker could be? Perhaps a rebranded Brooks?

After way too many hours searching saddles I finally realized it's a Ideale due to the oval stamp on the top which at one time said "Groupon Garanti".

Not sure about the "M".

Just had a Eureka moment, I think it must be a French made (maybe by Ideale) Motobecane saddle.

Mystery solved.

Nice saddles Idéale. I just have one a few weeks ago. An oldie but in better shape then this one. However, there can be done a lot with the right stuff on it.
