1978 Raleigh Stowaway

I finished this a month or two ago, but hadn't got around to posting any pictures (I should have at least cleaned the paintwork):

Any chance of an update so we can see the finished article? Part way through my own Raleigh Twenty build. Cheers!

Hmmm, my post above showed the finished bike, but the images aren't showing for some reason. I'll try to fix them.

I did quite a few miles on it before winter came around, but no mudguards makes it better for good weather.

Thank you :) It's good fun to ride.

I'd definitely recommend everyone has a go at building one, there's plenty of potential for different builds and none of the standard problems are difficult to work around.

One of the reasons I don't ride this so much is that the seat is just a little short for me. I've been on the lookout for a suitable replacement seatpost forever, but the only ones I ever find are black.
So, do I:
* Live with it - I don't ride much at the moment anyway?
* Buy a black one and tell myself it fits in because the Zefal pump is black?
* Buy a black one and strip the anodising? I don't think I can run to reanodising.
