Now you mention it - does look messy and this has a top pull set up. Is the chain stay quite similar? Nice groupo though.

Pretty sure only the very early specialized bikes had lugged frames and Square crown forks,they turned to tig welded frames in the mid to late 80s.Raleigh Ozark??,who knowa its a mystery.

99 problems and a decent photo ain't one.

I reckon perhaps something like a 93 Dawes kickback but they had forward facing post clamps. Not sure what they were like in 92 - if they were rear facing then that's my bet. Lugs and routing and dropouts and all other bits seem to tally.
