Fingers x mate. I keep thinking I’m seeing Venhill as well on that yellow strip below the Venom

I'd agree Ian. Venhill Engineering were, and still are, located in Dorking, Surrey. They printed that on the packaging on all of their parts back in the '90's.

You think you keep seeing Venhill; well I see Venhill Engineering, Dorking, Surrey in your photo.

These bar ends look like brodie love handles but I am not sure.
They weigh 111 gram and 113 gram
Total length 150mm
L and R on the inside
No logo's

I have a Research Dynamics with pretty much all the same details. Not anodized though.

Anyone? It’s titanium, no markings or numbers. Very light and thin walled. Aluminium sleeve in the centre, again no markings. I thought Xlite , but uncertain if they made these curly ones?

Hi all,
Am currently restoring a nice '91 Rockhopper and cannot work out where the following parts go (mental note: always take photos!). I think they might be for the Exage canti brakes but trying to work out how they fit on. Cheers!

Ah, thanks! I've only got the pair..do they usually go on the front wheel?

Yeah, generally just on the front axle.

They're to stop the front wheel falling out if the quick release or wheel nuts aren't tight enough.

@BCNBiker Agree with safety dropout spacer, added before they had to have tabs on the dropouts a few years later.

The bars above, no idea, nice though. If I see anything. There where a few people making/rebranding bars in the early 90s so who knows.
Any hints on background.
