Well, I've been MIA for about a year now, with half finished Oranges hanging up in my shed waiting patiently for some love, whilst i've been slaving away over a hot keyboard to create something kinda cool.. I think, erm well I hope so anyway!

I have now got a working-ish website online and I'm looking for some opinions, thoughts, suggestions and some overall feedback, and there's no better bunch of people then the Retrobike massive to ask! :)

Its A GPS Route and Ride based site aimed at making finding a place to ride a little easier.

Its open to sign up to use the forum and route search, upload functions and I'm currently looking for people who use GPS devices that generate GPX/TCX files to Beta test some additional functionality for me. If you are interested in helping out with the Beta, let me know..

Just be aware that there's some tumbleweed rolling around at present as you are the first people i've asked to look at it.

Heres a link..

Make yourself at home.. ;)

I can ask on french forum for some datas and someone to test the ride you have on the site .

and you could add Bedgebury forest to your trail centre .

That would be cool. The French route was uploaded as a test, part of a few routes that we don't know much about, so if it is a genuinely good route it would be great if someone could review it or let me know some more about it!

I orignally excluded Bedgebury Forest as I couldn't find any info about it online.. If you have and info or links I'll be more then happy to include it! The more information the better really.

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice feel to it - any way the maps could be OS? (I don't do all this GPS stuff  )

I played around with OpenSpace which is OS's version of google maps and it did work ok. I removed it though as they only work in the UK and caused some issues when viewing an international route. I

ts something that I'm considering adding back in though as it would be useful to have the ability to print out a map as backup even if you have a GPS. I'm just a bit concerned about the whole copyright mine field with producing a printable OS map. I need to look into it further really!

That looks really cool. Can dig out the Thetford maps if you want. Think Rekiborter linked to them not long back.
