My new old 1995 Kona Kula

Here you are my new old bike.
I finish it last week.

The weight of the bike in this photographs is 10,100 kg.

But I have a problem, I need the rear original guide collar, the brake cable guide in the seat post tube. Anyone knows where can I get one?

Did the Kula come in two colours in 1995? I only remember a gold one.

I think the gold one is not 1995 kula.

as for the colour - its the 95 colour you have here, but again interesting to see, that in Spain they sold the bikes with other specs. then the rest of Europe (World?). Even some colour schemes are different - remember the yellow 96 Explosif of chiringuita, where all others where green.

The copy of the german brochure for 95 range says, that the Kula have Marzocchi forks and no RS Mag 21 or Judy, as they had been offered only in 96 - Also the Judy SL and yellow stem on the Kula is very unique, even if its "only" a dealer/importer special.

Would be interested to see a full copy of the spanish brochure. Also John would be lucky if you could provide him a copy for the "Gallery & Archive"

I have just had a look in the catalogues for the UK and I was wrong, the Kula did not come in gold in 1995, but it was not 1996 either, the first year that the Kula appeared in 1994 it was the gold I was thinking of; the same colour as my 1995 Sex Too which is where the confusion came in as the colour of that is called "Kula Gold"

It always weirds me out to see Australian flora in places like Spain.

I remember visiting the Anchient Panathenaic Stadium in Athens and finding it strange to find the place smelling of Eucalyptus.

Nice bike by the way.

Spain have some completely different flora in different places, and it depends of the north, south, east or west. In this case the place is in the north-west and in the coast.

I like much more in the color of year 1995, the problem is to repair the paint, because i don´t know the reference of it.
Is is similar to the Peugeot 307 SW that a friend have.
