someone is bound to identify that on the colour alone!

it doesnt matter if its not the trickest bike on the planet. what matters is that its old and its being loved

Cool! At least I know now. Might be trading it for an Orange P7, depends on what I am offered for it.... and if I can talk the guy down from £200 which looks a bit much - as the frame is corroded and I am not sure it has the original running gear on it....

can you tell me what the seatpost size is? i have a bear valley from the same year and although i have calipers i'm not sure about the seatpost size. should be 26.2mm, 26.4mm or 26.6mm.

just noticed your different coloured bottle cages. were they like that from new? if not i'm impressed!

almost totally original '92 Muirwoods that :D as far as i can see only the rear tyre, handlebar grips, bottle cages and bar ends are not original equipment :D I can't believe the decals on the handle bars "T-6" etc are still there, should have one saying "marin lite" on the other side under the light bracket :D

give it a good clean ;)

Yep the Marin lite decal is still there. Apart from the rear tyre it is as I bought it 5 years ago. It deffo needs a clean! As I said until I came on here it was a bit unloved, a work horse, I kinda forgot what I had. Yeah I know it's nothing that special and if I am being honest I am not overly fussed by the ride but I suppose thinking back, the reason I bought it was my nostalgic view of Marin's from when I was a teenager - mate of mine had a bear valley, he thought he was the nuts on it!!
