My little (GT STS) collection...

"I am working on disc converters for these wheels !" you think they're going to hold up to the extra torque applied to only one side of the hub? In theory you can use the bolts where the carbon spokes mount to the hub-shell to bolt on some sort of self made adapter (you're going to be sweating on the first downhill run though...) oh well I'm not here to put down your ideas.

That is the idea...

And there is no torque problem if there are twin rotor on front wheel !

"And there is no torque problem if there are twin rotor on front wheel !" true, run two small 140 discs to get max braking power?(there was a downhill bike in the early 90's that had a custom fork with double small diameter rotors) But then you would need a disc adapter for the right fork leg... how would you couple the two disc calipers (run a double lever?). Would you go disc for the rear as well?

It would be a loooong time project, so I am just thinking about diverse solution..

Caliper adaptor would be easily machined, but for dual braking system, I don't know, I believe that it would exist for tandem or cyclocross bike, I must investigate..
Or it would work if I combinate 2 dual piston caliper with one 4 piston lever, maybe..

And for rear, maybe disk by swapping my drilled STS-DS rear end instead of this STS-DH rear end, or maybe not.. :?

I would just make two clamp-on rim-brake mounts for the fork and run the bike with Magura HS. Least amount of headache and the wheels are for rim brake anyway. The HS brakes are powerful enough. I do have a Vorace fork and mine has both V-brake mounts and disc mount (unfortunately it's in shambles as I have to repair it, the carbon steering tube has de-laminated and some muppet tried to fix it the wrong way, now I have to re-make the aluminum insert for the steering tube and glue in a new carbon fiber steering tube. This fork is surprisingly heavy (and I have the carbon fiber version))
How heavy are those Spinergys?

The weight is not a problem, these are amazingly lighter than TAG Wheels on my Lobo !

Of course I love Magura HS, I had all version since the first "hydrostop" one !

But I want all my bike to be different each other, and I allready have HS on my LTS thermo.

..and a bit amount of headache is part of the pleassure !

"these are amazingly lighter than TAG Wheels on my Lobo ! " fair enough, but I heard those wheels (the TAGs) are virtually indestructible (not so sure about the Spinergys)
If you ever get a chance to weigh them, let me know I always wondered how much those weigh...
Fair enough about the headache part, sometimes I'm not brave enough to push the envelope on a build (at least not to your level)...

I always like to read about your projects. :D

There exists a part that distributes the hydraulic brake power from one lever to two calipers. But I can't seem to remember the brand...
The old Marzo Bombers had disk brake mounts on both sides.

I do a photoshop, just for helping imagination...
