My Italian and Belgian bikes

Have really enjoyed drinking my morning coffee to this thread, an excellent brace of very desirable bikes that. Makes me want to buy a steel road bike again 😎👌

I've got a nice purple - blue Bottechia but I don't ride it, it's too big! Should probably fetch it out of the loft someday 🤐

A new Italian has sneaked into the stable, my 2nd Tommasini. Frame arrived from Italy this week and has been identified as an early Velocista from the first year of Columbus Max's release in 1987.

Built up with silver Campagnolo and Shamal wheels, but sadly I will have to wait until.next week for the sun to come out and it can be seen in all it's sparkling shiny glory.

I built up this latest Tommasini on Saturday and there was then zero sun all weekend.to show off that shiny chrome, and it comes back out when everyone's back at work on Monday, typical.

Such trolling by the weather gods has been a feature of UK weather for millenia, and as we may not see much of the big orange orb in the sky over the coming months, I managed to grab a pic of my two Tommasini's wearing their shiny weekend shoes.

No problem @foz , my Mario Martini painted fillet brazed Columbus Max Somec with panto'd bits. It's got so .many colours and star bursts it gives my camera a migraine, and I find it quite hard to photograph well but here goes..
