My Holdsworth special 1971......

Re:

So I’ve been busy with the kids home schooling, and tantrums yes mine as waiting for parts in the post is annoying lol but I’ve got to the stage I’m just waiting on cable clips etc so can set gears up and I’m off!
I was hoping for my birthday next Monday but clips aren’t coming till weds :(
Oh and I bought another bike... only because it’s dripping in Dura ace and Ultegra(I know the rear derailure is sora but that’s a quick swap)it’s pinerello and was literally on eBay 3 streets away

That was an epic read!

The problem with frame numbers and identification is that there were so many frame builders large and small. For every ten frames offered up for identification, maybe two will get a name and builder attached.

What's going on with the downtube shifters and cables? :?
Well the frame had no braze ons for the cables for my mirage set up,so I ordered some Campag shifters so I could use the bracket part only and then i would be all good but.....I love the look of the shifters now  so now I’m in a dilemma,I want to keep shifters for aesthetics but my shifters on brakes for every day use so I came up with this till I can think off something else  unless anyone has any suggestions..nice ones I’m not a bike builder and just getting into it so maybe there is something I’ve not seen
Anyway it rides nice lol will look nicer once get my wheel back

Maybe you could use the band to attach adjusters like the image below rather than the shifters?
