Rodi my first thought. Vuelta?I don't, posted it in the mtb section. Was informed maybe "Rigida DP22, Rodi Airline, etc."
Thanks Dave, was given to me by another Dave, a captain in our army and all round nice bloke also a keen cyclist. His missus "suggested" he give it to me. Drove a 120 mile round trip to do so. I think you're right, it's light and I think it will make a nice bike. I'm not to worried what it is, just would be nice to know.Rodi my first thought. Vuelta?
Makings of good bike there, Rob!
Sorry, not sure what you mean.I guess sanding any deep-section anodised wheel can work.
I will give you first refusal on the rims . They have odd hubs XT an STX, I don't like odd hubs, rims. I will probably build new wheels. Price won't be telephone numbers. The look! I love the look!
No problem, If I get a six pack of some nice booze I'm happy, post at cost obviously.Thank you very much - I don't have a 26er at the moment (Goose died recently) and if Frannie works out, it will be a few years before I get an MTB.
But I do love the look of fat deep MTB rims.
