my bikes from the 90's

i done alot of cycling back in the day . i raced on these two bikes, but then the car licence was got and the bikes never seen the light of day. they mustve been in my parent roof space for the last 14 yrs.



1st its a specialized stumpjumper m2 s works. mostly xt/ lx. although the wheels are only a couple of years old. as i had an idea to get back out on the bike which never developed into anything.. think its around 1992ish.

2nd giant cadex, mostly shimano 105 with a couple of 600 bits. cxp 30 rims on 600 hubs. i think its around 1993-95.


there must be quite a few like myself that has bikes like this hiding in the roof space.

could anyone put a rough value on the specialized. thinking of moving it on. there is a lot of scratches on it but no cracks. would i be better breaking it. cheers

I like timemachine stories like this.
don´t like the idea of you selling it though.

keep it (the specialized) and sell the giant probably.

one bike is always worth keeping.

ill get better pics of the specialized and the details of the frame size, think its 18" but need to double check. thanks.

i havent used the bikes in years but ive more of a history with the giant thats why im thinking of selling the specialised.
