My ALAN Frame

Thanks for all the comments guys. I'm hoping its going to be something beautiful when i'm done.

To answer some questions:

It's a december 94 frame, Next things to get are a set of cinelli handlebars (26.4) and a campagnolo seatpost (27.2) then i can start building properly.

I'm likely to put on a white fizik arione with matching bar tape.

For now I picked up sone autosol and varying grades of wet n dry so i can polish the frame and also the brake levers and crankset.

Are you sure that's a 27.2?

I thought Alan and Vitus were 25mm??

According to my calipers it is, I also just tried the post off my galaxy to double check and it's definitely 27.2.

Otherwise i'd have been questioning you more about your post.

Maybe because it's a late one. It's also an english threaded BB which I wasn't expecting.

Thought i'd stick a bit of an update up:

Got a set of giro d italia bars today off a chap here (thanks wayne) and thought I would show how it looks currently. (It's actually decoration in the living room!)

I'm also in the middle of de-anodising and polishing the crankset so hope to get it really looking like a bike before long.
