Right - here she is. Ready to rock
Completed yesterday and pics just taken. I always wanted this build to be a usable ride. Not too much in the way of fancy stuff just a good workman like bike: the sort of MTB I always wanted bitd but couldn't really afford. So i've kept the frame in natural alu, warts 'n all. There are dents & marks a plenty but the point is that it looks the part. It looks like a well loved trail beater
Thanks to those that provided bits and added their comments. I may change the bars/grips at some stage and as mentioned before, I have a pair of XTR M950 hubs awaiting some suitable rims. Money's run out at the moment so that will have to wait awhile !
Yup the chainstay protector will go when I get round to buying a black one !
