I havent done a full restore as i want to keep a certain amount of the patina its aquired over the years, but what i have done is rebuild it to work properly using as few new parts as possible

Good looking bike. Totally agree re keeping the original patina. Once gone it is gone forever. A few scrapes in an original finish beats a respray nearly every time.
