My 1990 Overbury's Pioneer

Bought this a few weeks ago. Stuck seatpost so it will be caustic soda to get it out.

Full Deore DX.

I'm going to get it clear powder coated when done.

Mavic M261 rims but not stainless spokes so I'll rebuild the wheels too.

Needs a minor weld repair to front or seatpost. Probably get a bit of TIG action to limit heat input.

Cool,really need to get mine out more, might even get repainted this year. Are you clear coating over the patina or just bare metal and clear?

bare metal and clear. This is not the original paint job.

I want to see the fillet brazing. Seen it done before, looks ace.

I clear coated mine, it's will rust under the clear coat but still love it
