Had some time to get the parts all cleaned today and they've came out nice and shiny so happy about that.
See if the eagle eyed can spot a difference regarding the brakes
The U-brake is nos (cheers Colorado),new XT pads are fitted on the cantilevers and just need to get the slr sticker stuck down properly and there sorted.
The levers just needed a touch up and i had some spare SLR inner and outer cables to use.

Now just a matter of fitting them

All the cables are fitted for the brakes just need to have them set up properly now.

Put the XT chainset on with a nos period correct Biopace ll big chainring i managed to find a while ago to see if i want to go with the silver look,i think it's a yes

So i just need to polish the crankarms and find some Biopace middle and small rings and i can get the chain on and it'll be nearly there,happy days

Sweeet! as i'm just loving this Spanky especially with the black chainrings and silver crank arms combo as it compliments the front and rear mech beautifully and i just love seeing toe clips on these bikes as imho it just completes the look ..
