Well they are like London buses you wait for ages then 2 come along together.
The one I picked up today is exactly the same but minus the wheels and saddle. I will check the frame number tomorrow against the other one.

Hi, I am new here. I have been enjoying browsing the site - it is great site and I love it. My friend has a 88 or 87 Courier and we have decided to tidy up. The frame is ok condition but some original parts are missing such as rear wheel, handle stem, seat post, seat, rear mech, shifter...
Just a little update as I said I have just got anther one which has the paw embossed on the seat stays and the frame number has an 87 in the number so I guess that this bike is a1987 where the other frame had an 86
