So... around 5 years ago I posted a thread asking for help regarding a stuck seat post on a 1989ish Courier Comp that had been my friends since new. Tried the usual methods suggested...no joy at all.
Muddy fox hung back on wall.
Been nice wall art since.
Last week I was rained off work so took said frame to my friends engineering workshop with brute force in mind...lol....not a hope in hell of freeing this stubborn mf. As the paint on this was in lovely condition I really didn't want to use heat or caustic soda so ended up drilling out as much of the post as possible from the top and yep...can now insert a post of sorts. Thanks mynchiboy for the new post.
I have most of the original parts so rebuild begins
