muddy fox courier comp age ?

going to pick up a muddy fox courier comp on monday
its a browny red colour with a crackle finish
under chainstay u-brake and predominantly exage parts
so what year is it ? 88 or so ?

where did it fall in the line up ?

ooh that might be a Araya built Fox, very nice if it is.

I had this one for awhile:

pretty sure it was an '89.

The one described is an '89 the same as sfsr's but with the U brake. Baz77 on here has one of these frames in his shed. They were probably painted up on the last batch of '88 bikes (as most of the '88 range had U's) and then equipped with '89 parts.
