I have had a look at some templates and not sure which one will fit at the back on a hardtail.
I would buy a decent one if it fitted.

Just trying to find suitable plastic.
Bottle of Muc-off has half left.
Found some plastic from a paper folder but it's only 0.25mm thick.

Yep, they work pretty well as long as you can find ones that are stiff enough., There's also PET soft drink bottles, plastic milk jugs, 5L oil / screen wash / coolant bottles, etc.
