Have a Reflex ALX 89 to keep the thread going!

Lovely bike, but it was too small for me. Someday a 19" frame will turn up.. someday..!

Lovely Reflex. Sorry to resurrect an old thread.
Back in 1988 I bought 5 or so (can't remember, but certainly 2 batches of them)of these into the UK direct. 89s (pink) & 99s (blue) for staff and my sister-got nicked from her at university. (never kept one for myself...kept selling them  )
They were far better than anything else we could get for the money at the time. Anodised (lovely colours) Easton tubing, made by Raleigh USA... the resemblance is uncanny. Difficult to source as they made (or claimed to)so few of them.
Always had a softspot for Reflex.
I'll have a dig around as I might well have the original catalogues as I rarely throw anything away.

I had a Hooger Booger Comp LX, decent bike. Selling the frame now though.
From reading up on the brand they were bought out by Scott, and then vanished.
Wasn't "Heavy Tools" another snowsports brand that jumped on the Mtb band wagon?
