I aim to keep riding this winter through all mother nature throws at me. I have my kit sorted but for one thing.

What do you all do when the weather really cold - too cold for shorts.

I usually wear my thermal bib tights under my Endura mt500 shorts but wanted to get some trousers that are showerproof, fairly light, not too baggy.

Any suggestions.

How about these, handy colour and wipe clean for when you lose it on those tight switchbacks

Re:

Might be a little flappy in the chain area :D

Just want some thing to stop me getting frostbite where my shorts end and my socks start :(

A good pair of tights then, used to use them in the old days as a roadie

NO TIGHTS ON A MOUNTAIN BIKE

I wear then on the Road bike but on my Gravel/Adventure bike they just don't go

Bac in the day I used to wear jsut some lycra tihgts I bought for running in, but since then on the mtb its always been either just knicks/bibs or shorts (hummvee's). Onthe roadie for winter I have castelli sorpasso

tights on a mtb looks way cooler than some (all) of the pants DH racers wear

You should really stop wearing the Pippi Longstocking type ones then

Re:

I have skinny legs that don't suit tights

The Endura Humvee trousers and the Endura Firefly seem to fit the bill :)
