Simply stunning
This needs to be entered in Bike of The Year when it comes up as it’s The most lovely and elegant MTB I’ve seen in this site ever (apart from my Scapin of course)
Now would you enter the brother OR the sister? Obviously you can only enter the brother as it won BOTM, but for me the sister edges it with double U brake... 
And I assure you, it is even more beautiful in personSimply stunning

I always thought that for MAX OR frames the best place to have the rear brakes is of course the chain stays…they are so beefy that there will be even less flex than bikes with the “notmal” tubing.
That Pinarello is the first MAX OR bike that I see with this feature! Pretty amazing!

They were from the same owner, a regular De Rosa customer (a very wealthy customer), he knew Ugo and wanted two mountain bikes for his family, bikes that had never been used. I was told that the bikes were made to measure and that you could modify/change them (stickers, brakes etc) with Ugo, waiting times for this frame were very long because of the difficulty in welding these geometries. Another piece of information I was able to find, through the De Rosa family, is that the production of these bikes was very limited, maybe 4/5 pieces.
