That is the original colour, its Mango (I have an identical one)
Here is my other M2 after a powdercoat with new decals that I got from Specialized UK, think they were about a tenner if memory serves.

just got back from a landrover fest in Driffield this weekend.
took the chance to stop over near Hull to checkout the bridge.
i took my mm08 racer as a campsite steed.
strange mix of six speed thumbies/king/lx :?
