I thought £1592 was reasonable considering the HED's and the Syncros Cranks but the current price is really taking the mickey

Presumably the seller is aware of the potential individual prices of the HEDs (say £1000-£1500 (but disregard the Pulstar/XT hubs)), and the cranks (say £500-£800), so expected the price to be north of those two combined. The frame is nice. The forks are nice - apart from the crown. The tyres are nice. The rest is average/run of the mill.
Realistically they should split, but they might be stuck with the frameset because of the fork crown.
