I've sold 3 pair in the last 2 weeks and a couple of Factory Pilot lenses ($130 for IR lenses :shock. Have 2 more to go, plus a pair of Bengal/orange Straight Jackets I was given that I wore twice, and my ex's old Tortoise/gold Juliets that somehow ended up in my sunglasses box.

Not really. I've been wearing Rx for a while now. Have a pair of Silhouette bifocals, a couple of pairs of Straight Line 4.0 (clear and gold IR), and these Ti Why 3s/VR-28 those kind folks at Oakley gave to me. My optometrist said they called and told him "tell him to chose any frame and any lenses, and we will make them up for him free of charge.......just please get him to stop calling and screaming at us". :twisted:

I just cracked a lens on my old Ti WHY3s. Prescription-corrected photochromatics. They're not going to be cheap to rebuild :cry:

My original WHYs were already comp'd once. Totally outside the warranty, but Oakley replaced them in 1 week, no questions asked.

Plus they (used to) send me replacement nose & arm rubber bits on request.

No complaints here.

Something tells me that a few in his collection would get into the thousands, lowering the average price for the rest.

I've turned down two good BIN offers on my set since I promised I would let the auction run till the end. Hope I don't regret it :?
