I still own a sub zero and never wear it. :D
Mine is brown.
When I see this on Ebay, think I sell mine too :D

Pics of you wearing them, please :D
j/k, they look cool, but would look silly on my big head...I'm sure.

:) The 'crystal' frames on some of the frogskins were indeed a nightmare but they fetch a lot of money if you have some that are still intact!

Agree about the sub zeros too - if you must have that retro zero look AND get away with not looking entirely ridiculous wearing it has to be the 1st gen Zero 0.4...

for sure, it wasnt just the frogskins that were prone to breaking, it also included the original mumbos, m frames, eyeshades and the blades system, mainly due to the original material used for manufacture (serilium).

it has to be remembered that over time plastics, or similar compounds can deteriorate, and this was common with the crystal frames on several models.

as for the subzeros, for sure not many people can wear them successfully, but they are cool and still a must have for retro fans or oakley collectors like me!

i have the full set of zeros and sub zeros (36 pairs) and although i dont wear any of them, on display, they still after all this time cause people to go 'wow those are crazy cool'....thats what being retro is all about i think.

as for those zeros 0.3, well that price with original box is quite cheap, i paid another 50% on top of those without the box-so they buyer got a 'bargain'.

Like these? They were Dark Crystal IIRC. They've been sitting in a box with the rest of my Oakleys since I went to Rx 20 years ago. What kind of money are they worth?

They're worth plenty. Get selling on the bay, man.
