Moser Va Por la Hora ID help please

Dirt Disciple
Hi All,
I have a Moser Va Por la Hora circa 1987. It has what I presume is the rider's name stamped on the bottom bracket opposite the usual numbers. I was hoping someone had heard of this name.
It is CANIS (not Canins !) It may be the full name or an abbreviation.
It is a known surname in US and Europe. It also means 'dog ' in some languages!! :)
Frame was originally in Fondriest yellow and white but repainted by previous owner.
Any help would be very gratefully received.
Thank you
Si

Red and white?
Mmmm, I wish I could get hold of one

I have a pair of Ambrosio discs waiting for the day...

Yes,
Red and white . Let me know if you want to sell Ambrosios I have some but fronts are in Spanish National/Colnago and Karkhov track colours and would be an outrage to repaint them.

Not much help here is there
I'd love to help with your build but the day I get a Va Por La Hora I will severely injure myself with intent if I were to ever lose possession of my disc wheels :)

If you on the other hand ever tire of the frame and ever get the crazy urge to own a never ridden Vitus 979 pursuit (yeah I know that's a bit cheeky sorry) give me a bell
