Gc

got and now juat finished in the hardest setting with all mission well in the 95%/100% bracket wow ya baby

now back to bikes

Installed it at 7:30 last night, completed it on single player on hardest level by 1:30am.

Story line wasnt as compelling as COD4. And it also struck me as a little dumbed down (direct port of the console version, missing features of COD4 MW PC version, and also seamingly easy.

The last chase sequence was a particular laughably dissapointing level.

Will have to do a thread posting up your pit times (screenshots required as evidence ;) ) Think I am running a low 32 second with 0 civi kills as my fastest run yet. (not sure if this varies accross platforms)

To be fair I did COD 4 in a similar time frame, and purchased MW2 because of how good I found the narative and single player gameplay in the original MW.

So the time didnt concern me, the dumbing did make me question the purchase. I do not like auto aim (a console trait where lining a crosshair up with a game pad is tricky/slow/innacurate by comparrison to the traditional mouse/keyboard interface used by PC gamers) however this "feature" was noticable on several levels, and made me think whats the point? Any one could play this part through.

Not buying it. If I wanted to play a console game, I'd buy a console. Infinity Ward have pissed me right off with this one.

Gamer (during Q&A session): "Is the PC version a direct port of the console version?"

IW: "No. The PC version has custom stuff like mouse control, text chat and graphics settings."

Oh so using the mouse is a feature now is it? Tossers. Auto aim, no lean, no dedicated servers, 9v9 multiplater limit, no record feature blah blah blah...

I bought both the last two COD games, and was looking forward to this one until I found out they couldn't be arsed making a PC game.

can you turn auto aim off or is it on all the time...

It isn't on for the most part, its just some levels where you are controlling a vehicle, you can hold up a machine pistol, but only point it straight forwards, no aiming, yet with some godlike charm you manage to slay any one who passes in front of you , at any range. It is simply horrible and skill less.

This was playing on the hardest skill level too.

Geoff, your a man after my own heart. I had already disregarded the multiplayer aspects of this game when I heard they had removed dedicated servers. I purchased it due to my liking of the single player of COD 4 (COD 5 was horrible by comparison, but that wasnt an infinity ward game) And as stated was dissapointed with several aspects of it.
