Looking for a new phone, just cancelled a rarely used contract and have got some pay as you go sims. On Ebay theres quite a few of what I'm guessing are iphone copies, any good? Not looking to spend alot just need something to get me going. Anywhere else I can look for one?

the iphone copies are a bit like buying a Kia Rio, they work for a while and then go wrong.

better off buying a second hand sony ericsson (mine have lasted 2-3 years at a time) or Nokias or unwanted unloved PDA's with a sim option

Nokia E71's are good phones, full qwwety keyboard, sat nav, interweb, email, sports tracker, hell they even make phone calls. I've had mine 6 months now and still cant complain

Nice one, the Kia analogy is a fine one :) I'll probably treat it as a consumable anyway.

I'll add Nokia to my list too.

I got a pay as you go nokia from tesco last year for £20 which included a £10 top up voucher, so the hardware was only £10. Its basic, but works ok.

havent a clue what model, as I'm not into em.

An unlocked used Samsung Omnia with SPB mobile shell installed is a worthy iphone subsititute, mine has been reliable for over a year and does everything the iphone does without the cost and restrictions. The only proviso is that you can get on with Windows Mobile, which for me is not a problem as I have used it for years, others find it hard work.

doom plus all wads"maps ect",quake ....oh yes, quite few gameloft games ,lots of platformers, pool, footie, google earth, plus a nintendo gba advance emu and all the roms....ect.if ya want one i say get the e71....battery lasts forever.....oh its got a minisdslot which ihave a2gig card in for music or films.it also supports stereo bluetooth which works very well if youhate wires.

Isn't the E72 out very soon??

Personally considering an HTC HD2 and a Nokia N900 - can't seem to get on with QWERTY's and need a bigger screen for my failing eyesight...
