Is the seatpost the correct size or is too big and how come its got stuck (and would explain why no seatclamp needed)

I think it is! I sold mine with a blue CK like that on it as a frameset.

How come you dont think it is?

the guy was selling it on singletrack couple months back, i contacted him but left it due to having a stuck post. only wanted the frame.
