I've just had a go at putting some of the original pics back in place as a similar bike popped up in another thread and all the pic hosting here was dead. I found most of them but the earlier pics are buried on a hard drive somewhere.
I sold this bike sometime around the end of 2016 I think. I never did get a solid identification, but the frame, fork, headset, bars, stem and front brake belonged together and all the equipment seemed to be BSA. It also had remnants of BSA red box lining. I also found a bike that matched almost identically in the 1938 BSA catalogue, so that sealed the deal for me. Pretty sure it was a 1938 (or thereabouts) BSA Sports.
