Metallica - Creeping Death EP

For many years, I lived just round the corner from Sweet Silence studios where it was recorded. Long after the event though. I think everyone in Copenhagen has a Metallica story though.

Best one I've heard was my ex-gf and her friends slagging them off in Danish in Bruger King same day as they played Copenhagen on the Master of Puppets tour (again before my time). Little knowing that 1) they had a danish member and 2) that they were sat nearby out of sight. Imagine the embarrassment when Metallica got up and left after finishing their dinner and Lars Ulrich stopped up and said "Surely we're not THAT bad". The girls even turned down the offer of guest tickets...

I sold all my Metallica records when I emigrated. Except the Black Album. Now my eldest son is buying them again!

Only saw them once in 86 at Bradford St George's Hall.

Saw them at Milton Keynes.. 'Live at the bowl' The nowhere else to roam tour 1993
Absolute class. Have loved their work from Master of Puppets right thru to some of the modern stuff.

'I've got somethin' to say.....'

..i'll stop at that line methinks.. Probably the crudest song they covered.. off Garage inc.

Oh and I've got the EP somewhere.. but in CD form not vinyl

i don't own it myself but my brother has it on vinyl, infact i think he has the entire metallica back catalogue upto the black album on vinyl, then they sold out cut there hair and started making "rock" instead of being metal. :(
