McMahon suspended frame

Proto2000

Not sure where this belongs since I cannot find any info on this style frame. Anyone have an idea years made or if it's even a real deal McMahon? Snapped it up for very little money and have started to clean it up, rear-end seems to be anodized and is taking a lot of elbow grease to get the color back. I saw some pics of a different frame style with the exact sticker kit so I would assume it's real but maybe a low produced frame from the maker. Any help appreciated.

Here is an example of the rear dropouts and they look very similar. Notice the 3 screws holding the hanger in place.

Just pulled the derailleur hanger and it is not aluminum, it is stainless steel. Never gonna bend kinda material.

Just started to hang some parts on this frame and checked the diameter of the seat tube, 35.4mm where the derailleur goes on. Where do I get one of those? Kinda bummed now. May need to find a BB type, frame did not have a FD when I bought it and may just go 1 chainring in front...

A 35mm should fit, someone had a suntour xc one going not so long ago.

Thanks for all of the responses. I looked for a few of those on eBay but no luck. I dug out an M950 34.9mm which has a smooth interface to the frame and I was able to get it on there without much trouble. I tried a XT with the bumps on the interface and no go. I want to use M950 so it has worked out.
